Young Professionals: Friday Night at the ER

Join the Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber's Young Professionals Group for Friday Night at the ER®, an internationally acclaimed serious game and an effective team-learning tool used in all industries.  Friday Night at the ER challenges teams to manage patient flow in a busy hospital during a simulated 24-hour period.  Each participant plays the role of a department manager. Each performs distinct functions and makes decisions in response to patients’ needs with available resources.  As more patients arrive at the ER on Friday night, demand ripples through the hospital. Players manage the ebb and flow of demand, interdepartmental hand-offs, and the use of resources while documenting performance data and dealing with unexpected events.
