A very special evening with two modern Southern ladies -- Jaki Shelton Green (NC Poet Laureate) -- joined by poet and novelist Darnell Arnoult.They will consider, in poetry and more, the relationship of two original Southern ladies - Mary Lincoln and Elizabeth Keckly. This will be the culminating event in our Elizabeth Keckly 2018 Bicentennial Observance. A celebratory reception will follow.
