Sundays in Hillsborough Concert Series

Downtown Hillsborough is the place to be this Fall! The Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Hillsborough Tourism Development Authority are pleased to announce the return of “Sundays in Hillsborough” a free concert series on the Old Courthouse Square in Downtown Hillsborough.

The 2019 series runs from August 25th through October 27th. Each Sunday, featured bands will perform in a range of genres including Bluegrass, Jazz, Country, and popular 80's music.  The featured band for Sunday, September 15th will be The Hillacasters!

Shops, restaurants, galleries, and historic sites will be open so that visitors can shop, eat and enjoy all we have to offer while listening to the music that fills the Downtown. Each week a Hillsborough Merchant or Restaurant will be the featured business.  This week's featured merchant is Margaret Lane Gallery.  Be sure to stop in for their special Sunday In Hillsborough offerings:

• Opening reception for Views of Chile-Brazil: Watercolors and drawings of a travel sketcher, featuring Gustavo Mahn – see the art, chat with the artist!
• Pop into our Pop Art! show featuring local artist Max Dowdle and accompanying local and visiting artists including Ashley Armstrong, Kevin Flynn Bell, Michi Doan, Debi L. Drew, Gabriel Dunston, Robin Freebird, Armen Knox, David Knox, D. Xavier Knox, Margaret Oatney, Chris Wharton, Sam Williams, and Saul Zimet.
• Raffle for a 13x19 giclée.
• Light refreshments.
• Free art activity for all ages.
