Status of Environmental Legislation in North Carolina: NC Senator Woodard to Speak

The Environmental Issues Team of the League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham and Chatham Counties is hosting a presentation on the status of environmental legislation in North Carolina, on Saturday April 29, 2017, from 10:00 AM until noon, at the Chapel Hill Public Library. NC Senator Mike Woodard, a member of the Senate Agricultural/Environment/Natural Resources Committee will provide an update and lead the discussion, including possible actions for advocacy. This comes at a time when substantial changes are being considered. Please join us for this important update and discussion. The Chapel Hill Public Library is located at 100 Library Drive in Chapel Hill. The program is free and open to the public. Free parking is available.
