Polo Charity Classic Presented by BB&T and Performance Automall

Head out to the Triangle Area Polo Club (North Carolina's ONLY polo club) for our 2nd Annual Polo Charity Classic! An afternoon of family fun, and a chance to help a worthy cause, Sam's Wish Fund - a division of Kid's Path, benefiting kids in the hospice program in Orange, Chatham, Caswell and Person counties.

Watch as Team Maple View faces off against Team Bald Head Blues in an official polo match of 6 chukkers, accompanied by a traditional divot stomp at halftime! Don't forget to don your derby attire for a chance to be selected as Best Dressed or Best Hat. There will also be prizes for Best Decorated Tent & Tailgate. Make sure to listen to the emcees--Kyle, Bryan, and Sarah of MIX 101.5's Two Men and a Mom--during the event to know if you've won a prize!

About the beneficiary...
Sam’s Wish Fund is a special fund set aside to make dreams come true for Kids Path children and their families. It’s available through the amazing generosity of the community, and named in memory of Samantha Harvell – a teenager whose remarkable spirit and courage through adversity inspired everyone who was privileged to be part of her life. Sam died on November 15, 2008 at the age of 17, but her spirit lives on through this fund. A portion of the proceeds from the Polo Charity Classic will be donated directly to Sam's Wish Fund.
