Free Creative Respite for Caregivers of Loved Ones with Dementia with Debi Drew
A new art lesson is presented each month in a 2-hour session. The lesson provides a bit of relaxation and the opportunity to have a stress-free creative learning experience. All supplies are provided.
These creative respite sessions, specifically intended for caregivers who are caring for a loved one(s) with Dementia, are free of charge but registration is required.
The lesson for August is Metal Sheet Embossing. Transforming a flat sheet of aluminum into a raised surface design (by hand) is a satisfying experience. We will create a one of a kind piece of metal embossed art this month, which will look great with or without color application. Organic shapes and the use of line will be stressed. Come prepared to make your mark in metal!
