2D Design: Imaginative Repetition, an Art Workshop with Debi Drew

This 2-D design class is for anyone who enjoys color and would like to  learn  how to produce beautiful designs using a limited color palette, repetition in shape line and value techniques.
  
Asymmetrical balance will also be discussed and stressed to encourage a unique creative appeal to your unique design.  We will use colored pencils and ink pens on paper.  
 
All supplies will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own colored pencils if you have particular colors you wish to use.
 
Learn:
• to work with a limited color palette.
• to  use repetition through color, shape and line.
• to use gradation, value and harmony in design.
 
Create:
• an asymmetric imaginative and colorful repetitive 2-D design with colored pencil and ink pens.
 
Two Sessions to Choose From:
Tuesday, March 19, 6 – 9 pm
Saturday, March 23, 2 – 5 pm
