DESCRIPTION:Hillsborough area commuters could save more than $4\,000 per year in commute costs* if they could avoid having to drive themselves in every day.\n\n \n\nOrange County's Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Coordinator Allyson Coltrane will host the enrichment breakfast\, which will give an overview of all of the options available to Hillsborough commuters. This includes telework\, carpool\, vanpool\, transit\, biking and walking. Additionally\, Allyson will discuss the ShareTheRideNC (STRNC) website which allows you to securely match with others who share your commute route and schedule. Lastly\, there will be a brief overview of the transit apps available to use for those who are new to riding the bus.\n\n \n\n*Based on 250 work days per year and a 30 mile roundtrip commute at the 2019 IRS mileage rate of 58 cents per mile.
