This alignment-based class focuses on the length, strength and integrated movement of the spine and core muscles. Each class is grounded on the theme of ?treating with opposites to achieve balance? ? focusing on moving the body, breath, heart and mind in opposite ways to those encouraged by our everyday habits and external influences. All students are welcome ? whether new to yoga; suffering from shoulder, back or hip pain; dealing with the challenges of aging or injury; or those simply wishing to feel more comfortable, calm and balanced.
