"Hard 2 Recycle Day" Earth Day Event
The Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Orange County Solid Waste Department to host a "Hard 2 Recycle Day" in celebration of Earth Day. The event will host collection bins for plastic bags and film, CFL bulbs, batteries, and *cell phones. Lithium batteries must be taped before donating - tape will be provided at the event. This event is open for the collection of residential waste only.
*If your old cell phone is working, consider donating it to a local charity or nonprofit.

Orange County residents can celebrate Earth day by bringing their hard to recycle items to either of these events! At these events, we will accept the following items from your home (no business waste accepted): · Cellphones · Batteries · Lightbulbs (CFL only)
